In the explosive dance performance Nobody is an Island, we start at the end. The recognisable image of an abandoned festival site, littered with broken tents and full rubbish bags.

To avoid seeing waste, we send it to China, burn it in Turkey, and bury it on Puerto Rico.

With energetic dance and clear images, choreographer Winter Wieringa takes you into a hopeful experience of three young dancers digging into the ‘past left behind’ like modern archaeologists. Their movements reveal what we don't want to see: broken objects, remnants of the party and forgotten stuff, but also its beauty.
